The Speech Master Intermediate Class

The Intermediate Class introduces a critiquing platform which is very influential to the development of proper skills and confidence levels in each student. It is at this point in the Speech Master series where grading systems and video reviewing begin and the students can start working on the more specific elements in delivering a presentation to a group.

Each speech will be video taped and reviewed by the instructor and the student together. The introduction of a grading system is also introduced which will emphasize the importance of staying within time limits, watching filler words, inflecting the right words in a speech, and issuing convincing gestures. Speech writing is also emphasized for proper diction and content delivery. It is required for each student to complete the Introductory course before being enrolled in the Intermediate course. Each student will receive a DVD of all of their speeches at the end of the week.

The Intermediate course focuses on:

Intro to Memorization
Timed Advertising Speeches
Advanced Outlining and Speech Preparation
Video Critiques
Audience Questions and Answers Forum
The Elimination of Filler Words
Sales Presentations

The goal of the Intermediate Class is to continue the communication journey for each student by giving them practical and technical instruction to improve their speaking appearance in many different arenas. This is where the instructor begins to be very specific with proper style and content.

There are three age groups for this class:

-6th-9th Grade (11-15)
-10th-12th Grade (14-18)
-High School Graduate and College (17-30)
