The Introductory Class is fresh induction into the vast world of communication. Regardless of the experience of each student there is a plethora of insights to be gained by uncovering their individual gifts. Instead of focusing only on speaking from a podium, students learn how to communicate effectively in many other formats some of which are listed here:
Impromptu Speaking
Group Presentations
Reading to a Large Group
Acting
Common Etiquette in Social Situations
Exhortation Communication
The goal of the Introductory Class is to make communication come alive in each student by providing practical ways they can improve their confidence and experience not only during the week of the class but also in their social gatherings and careers well afterward.
There are three age groups for this class:
-6th-9th Grade (11-15)
-10th-12th Grade (14-18)
-High School Graduate and College (17-30)
